1.  Support Shasta Forward:  Citizens for Smart Growth will be supporting Shasta Forward a community collaborative on how we wish our county to grow and develop in the future.  Links to this important program.  Click here to test drive the future of Shasta County

2.  Support Fix Five.  Citizens for Smart Growth supports Fix 5 a County/State/Federal collaborative to make I-5 three lanes from Cottonwood to Shasta Lake City.

Click here to see I-5 at Hill Top and Highway 44 in 1970.  Developers, construction, real estate, businesses and commuters all will benefit from having I-5 not become stop and go in 10 years.

3.  Support Green Construction in Shasta County.  Citizens for Smart Growth will be pushing hard for green building in Shasta County with solar and alternative energy.  If other counties can be achieving green advancement so can Shasta County.  Co-Founder Jim Koenigsaecker says "in 10 years there will be no such thing as green building as green building will be building as usual."  Below are links to "Green Construction" in California.
